COVID 19 Ladakh Updates - (31-July-2020)

Leh, July 31: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received total 16 positive reports and 181 negative sample reports from various testing centers of PGIMER Chandigarh, Covid-Lab Chuschot and DIHAR Lab Leh.

While CMO Kargil received a total 10 positive sample reports and 15 negative sample reports from various testing centers of PGIMER Chandigarh and Coivd-Lab Chuschot yesterday.

The bulletin further details that one patient in Facility Isolation at Leh was discharged today after the negative sample report was received yesterday.

With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 302; 238 in Leh district and 64 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 302 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

261 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh today for testing. Out of the total samples, 170 samples are sent by CMO Leh and 91 samples are sent by CMO Kargil.

At Upshi check post 58 passengers, drivers, and helpers of 25 tankers, 14 trucks and 3 light vehicles. Also 110 passengers and 175 drivers and helpers of 115 trucks/tankers and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
