Union Territory of Ladakh, Superintendent of Police UTDRF, Kameshwar Puri flagged-off 6 Days Search and Rescue Exercise Training

Leh, Aug 05: On the auspicious occasion of 1st anniversary of Union Territory of Ladakh, Superintendent of Police UTDRF, Kameshwar Puri flagged-off 6 days search and Rescue exercise training to the personnel of Union Territory Disaster Response Force (UTDRF) of UT-Ladakh today from Indus River Choglamsar. The training is being organized by UTDRF in collaboration with Tourism Department Leh and All Ladakh Rafting Operator (ALRO).


Tourist Officer Tsering Dolkar, Advisor ALRO Gurmet Stanzin, Inspector UTDRF Tsewang Namgail and Member of ALRO were present on the occasion.

The six days long training is for search & rescue operations and to promote rafting in the region. The members of the expedition were introduced to the SP UTDRF who interacted with them and stressed them to take optimum benefit from the training.
